Hi Neil,

is so heavily with you! We also currently strong and thaw last weekend was high water, where several houses were flooded. The river to me is usually 60 cm deep and 5 meters wide. I have attached two pictures of the last times a week. For a few minutes is with us again a storm warning of heavy rain and thaw. The flow is then rise again.

Hi Neil,
do you noticed the wind in your house ?
I do not hope it, 150 knots are very much 8-)
I have seen 35 knots at sea, that's enough for a small sailer Bild

Hi EDGE-Henning and Flieger Bernd!

Thank you for sharing the photos! It seems like we are having very similar weather - which is all wet! Where we are is fine with only small localised flooding but areas further north are not so lucky. We have had a few crew members lose their homes and we are raising funds at our airport base for them. This time two years ago we were also raising funds for crew who had lost their homes in the bushfires - if we only had this weather then many people would not had lost their lives. We flew through the bad weather yesterday during my return flight from Singapore - the first time in many years I had to lie in the aisle and passengers held me down as I was not able to get to my jumpseat in time - I was very grateful for their concern!

This time next week is the BIG car show here in Victoria at Hanging Rock - The Trabi will be on display and I will post a photo!

Kind Regards from wet Australia!

Neil

Hello Everyone!

This was certainly our year! We entered our Trabi, Oskar into the Picnic at Hanging Rock Car Show held in Woodend, Victoria. Over 3,000 cars were on display and we won "Vehicle of the Day!" At the end of the show we were presented with a trophy. The photos show our Trabi along with a Soviet Volga (and the three of us in DDR/UdSSR uniforms). This was the first year our car has won an award and we were over the moon! We had a lot of interest in our display which featured a history of the Trabi along with flags, Minol bunting and Sachsenring logo. Many people asked to have a photo taken with us too!

Now we have to do something even more spectacular for next year....!

Greetings from Australia in Autumn,

Neil
