I'm so sorry it has taken me a while to reply to all of your Birthday greetings (I've been in Sydney training for the A380 - more on that later!), I have printed out all of your messages - thank you again - I'm very humbled!

I like the picture Flieger Bernd sent of the Trabant! We are having Summer here and sometimes I think my Trabi would be better as a convertible! I hope one day to visit the big Trabant show in Germany.

Thank you also EA-Henning for visiting my website - I have a post from Flieger Bernd to put up soon but I'm running out of time this week already! My DDR Hi-Fi is in my home office and I've had to buy cassettes again! Good job there is eBay! Do many people still have their RFT Hi-Fi these days?

Kilo-Mike-Sierra mentioned about a picture of a Yak-42 with TAA equipment in the background - maybe this was Darwin? This port did (and sometimes still does) get very interesting visitors from airlines, air forces and cargo companies. A few years ago a guy in Brisbane started up an airline flying between Brisbane and the Solomon Islands using a Yak-42, sadly it didn't last long.
